Fastest: Gatwick Express
30 minutes non-stop from London Victoria to Gatwick. Trains every 15 minutes. Most expensive of the rail options (~£20 single online).
Cheapest rail: Thameslink
35–45 minutes from London Bridge, Blackfriars, Farringdon or St Pancras. Around £10–14 off-peak. Runs through central London so often a faster door-to-door option than Victoria.
Southern
~30–35 minutes from Victoria. Slightly cheaper than Gatwick Express; calls at a few intermediate stations.
Coach (National Express)
From Victoria Coach Station. 1h 30m–2h depending on traffic. From £6 if booked ahead. Better for late-night arrivals when trains are limited.
Taxi / private hire
£90–£140. Slow during rush hour (M23 + South Circular).
Tip
Gatwick has two terminals (North and South) connected by a free shuttle. Check your terminal before boarding the inter-terminal transit.
