DLR (Docklands Light Railway)
The London City Airport station sits directly under the terminal. From Bank: ~22 minutes, every 8–10 minutes. From Canning Town (Jubilee line interchange): ~6 minutes. From Stratford (change at Canning Town): ~15 minutes.
DLR uses the same TfL pay-as-you-go fares as the Tube — tap contactless or Oyster.
Elizabeth line + DLR
Elizabeth line stops at Custom House, one minute walk to the DLR Custom House station, then one stop to the airport. Useful from Paddington, Bond Street and Liverpool Street.
Taxi / Uber
From central London: 30–60 minutes depending on traffic. £35–£60.
When the DLR is closed
Replacement buses run between Canning Town and the airport. Allow extra time — schedule changes are common on weekends.
