Elizabeth Line — All Stations
The Elizabeth line opened in May 2022 and is now the UK's busiest railway. It runs 118 km from Reading and Heathrow in the west through brand-new central London tunnels to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east — all step-free.
With 41 stations, 200-metre-long 9-car trains and 2.5-minute frequencies through the central tunnel at peak, the Elizabeth line transformed cross-London travel. Paddington to Canary Wharf now takes just 17 minutes; Heathrow Terminal 5 to Bond Street is 32 minutes.
All Elizabeth line stations are fully step-free, with platform-edge doors at the new central tunnel stations. Fares match TfL contactless / Oyster pricing for Zones 1–9 and benefit from daily and weekly caps.
