In November 2024 TfL split the London Overground into six named lines. Each route now has its own colour and identity reflecting the community it serves.
For almost two decades the London Overground was a single orange line on the Tube map. In November 2024 it was split into six distinct lines, each with a name honouring a London community or piece of heritage:
- Liberty line โ Romford โ Upminster shuttle
- Lioness line โ Euston โ Watford Junction (Wembley)
- Mildmay line โ Stratford โ Richmond / Clapham Junction (North London Line)
- Suffragette line โ Gospel Oak โ Barking Riverside
- Weaver line โ Liverpool Street โ Chingford / Cheshunt / Enfield Town
- Windrush line โ Highbury & Islington โ Crystal Palace / West Croydon / Clapham Junction / New Cross

Yes. All six London Overground lines accept contactless, Oyster and mobile wallets with the same daily / weekly capping as the Tube.
