About the Victoria line

Opened in 1968, the Victoria line was the first fully automatic passenger railway in the UK. Drivers open and close doors but the train drives itself.

Every station is an interchange with another Tube line or National Rail โ€” making the Victoria line the single most useful Tube line for moving across central London quickly.

Full Night Tube on Friday and Saturday nights, with trains running roughly every 10 minutes through the night.
