About Heathrow Express

Operated by Heathrow Airport Holdings (the airport's owner), Heathrow Express runs every 15 minutes from Paddington to Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3, with most services continuing to Terminal 5.

Tickets are noticeably more expensive than the Elizabeth line (around £25 vs £12.80) but the journey is 15 minutes vs 30+, with luggage space, wifi and a more spacious airline-style cabin.

Heathrow Express does NOT accept Oyster or contactless PAYG for the journey itself — you need a Heathrow Express ticket or season pass, though contactless cards work as a payment method.
