About the IFS Cloud Cable Car (Royal Docks)

The cable car is fully integrated into TfL fares: you can tap in with Oyster or contactless, though the per-trip rate (Β£6 adult one-way as of 2026) is higher than a Tube journey and not included in TfL daily caps.

Each of the 34 ten-person gondolas runs in a continuous loop, departing every 15–30 seconds. There is no timetable β€” you simply board the next cabin.

The Cable Car serves two main destinations: The O2 Arena (via North Greenwich Jubilee line, 3 minutes' walk) and ExCeL London (via Royal Victoria DLR, 5 minutes' walk).

It is the fastest way to cross the river between these two venues β€” particularly useful for back-to-back events, conferences and concerts.

  • IFS Cloud Greenwich Peninsula
Walk: North Greenwich Tube (Jubilee line) + The O2.
